He was able to lead many software development projects filling two roles; that of a Project Manager and a Technical Lead. A few of these projects are expanded on in greater detail in the Projects section below. His career interests lie in the fields of Project Management, Web Development and UX/UI Development. He developed a strong theoretical as well as practical experience in these fields, and was called in for multiple internships on the basis of his well-rounded skill set.

In the non-academic world, Muhammad Taimur has proven his mettle in various leadership challenges, winning the Maersk Oil Leadership Challenge held in Zekreet Desert, as well as being shortlisted and successfully summiting the huge leadership challenge of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tazania, Africa (19,341 ft). He is an alumnus of the popular Leadershape institute, and has had copious leadership experience as a student employee. He led a team of students responsible for maintaining and improving the operations and events services of the popular Hamad Bin Khalifa University’s Student Center, which boasts 400+ visitors on off-days. As the Guest Services Supervisor, he not only hired and trained employees, but also initiated and implemented new operations policies within the venue. Leading by example, Muhammad Taimur was fortunate to win the coveted Takreem Employee of the Year Award the same year, an honor bestowed upon one out of 250+ student employees throughout Qatar Foundation. Muhammad Taimur’s leadership mettle was again tested when he was elected as the President of the Residence Hall Association, Hamad Bin Khalifa University, where he was responsible for being the voice of around 700+ student residents in Qatar Foundation. He had the opportunity to meet senior officials in Qatar Foundation, MEEZA and even non-QF businesses, liaising with them to improve the on-campus experience.

Muhammad Taimur is an avid sportsman, and he has played professional football for Raiders FC, a 2nd division club in the PFL. During his student career, balancing academics and his passion for sports, he has been a starting striker for CMU’s football team throughout, and has been recognized among the Qatar Foundation MVP Team of the Year every year that he has participated. Apart from Football, he enjoys table tennis and has won numerous table tennis tournaments held in Qatar Foundation.
